Ask for the Nation
Leah Ramirez
Throughout history, there have been regional outpourings of God that reshaped the landscape of time and space. Little forgotten places, where the Lord has poured out His Spirit in such a way that there was no denying His presence and sovereign choice. He chooses a place. A time. A people. And in a moment, everything is changed forever.
I believe Altamont, Tennessee is about to come into such a moment.
This little town is about to encounter a move of God. This high mountain stands before the God of all the earth. And like Zion, He will set His son, His King, on this mountain (Psalm 2). The Lord has a long history of choosing the forgotten things, the things of low or no reputation, and claiming them for Himself. He purposely chooses the overlooked things and anoints the ones, like David, who were so despised they were left out in the field until called for by name (1 Samuel 16:11).
God has chosen this high mountain. Altamont, Coalmont, Tracy, Monteagle, and Beersheba Springs, it is time to prepare for your days of visitation. Jesus is very much alive, and He will rule and reign here. His kingdom will be established here.
For a long time, you have said in your heart, I am hidden from God, and the heavens are closed to me. This is a lie!
You are seen, and your many prayers have been heard. You have not prayed in vain. You have not cried out to a deaf God. With your own eyes, you will see the glory of the Lord. Your family will be saved, and your body will be healed. Your soul will be delivered from every plague and addiction sent by the enemy.
Isaiah 25
6 On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples
a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine,
of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.
7 And he will swallow up on this mountain
the covering that is cast over all peoples,
the veil that is spread over all nations.
8 He will swallow up death forever;
and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces,
and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth,
for the Lord has spoken.
9 It will be said on that day,
“Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us.
This is the Lord; we have waited for him;
let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”
The spirit of mockery will be abolished. Jesus will once again turn over the tables of religion and drive it out and off this mountain. Satanic worship will be exposed and dethroned.
This high mountain range will be a place of communion with God. This mountain will be a place of reconciliation. The demonic veil of deception that has gone unchallenged here will be destroyed. Even in the presence of our enemies, the Lord will prepare a feast for us. He is our bread and wine. Our God will swallow up the spirit of death that has been allowed to manifest here. No more! No more!!
Many hearts have grown cold in the delay and despair. But there is still a flicker. There is still an ember.
Matthew 12
… 20 a bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not quench, until he brings justice to victory; 21 and in his name the Gentiles will hope.
Your faintly burning wick is enough. Our God is about to fan you into flame. This mountain is about to ignite.
Coalmont, it’s time to remember who you are. Come back into your history and burn! Burn for God. Burn for truth. You will send out burning ones and ignite this mountain and beyond.
What God is about to do on this mountain will be told in the nations. Surely, this high mountain is not forsaken. Rather, this high mountain has been chosen. The very glory of God has come and will rest upon you.
Open your eyes. Your redeemer is here.
Praise the Lord God Almighty! We say, “Yes, Lord!”
I just found my journal from last fall and had written this back then. Amazing to see what God is unfolding now!
