Unlocking Divine Inheritance: How Faith Transforms Us
Galatians 3
23 So until the revelation of faith for salvation was released, the law was a jailer, holding us as prisoners under lock and key until the “faith,” which was destined to be revealed, would set us free. 24 The law was our guardian until Christ came so that we would be saved by faith. 25 But now that faith has come we are no longer under the guardian of the law.
26 You have all become true children of God by faith in Jesus Christ! 27 Faith immersed you into Christ, and now you are covered and clothed with his life. 28 And we no longer see each other in our former state—Jew or non-Jew, rich or poor, male or female—because we’re all one through our union with Jesus Christ.
We are not saved because of our faith. The Gospel is not that you should have faith in your faith. We’re saved because of Jesus and what He has done for us. He has made a way. Our faith is about what He has accomplished.
29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are now Abraham’s “child” and a true heir of all his blessings because of the promise God made to Abraham!
- In Genesis 12:1-3,
God promised Abraham that He would multiply his descendants as the stars in the sky.
John 4
35 Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. 36 Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. 37 For here the saying holds true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”
- He would be their God and give them a specific piece of land forever.
Psalm 2
I will tell of the decree:
The Lord said to me, “You are my Son;
today I have begotten you.

Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and the ends of the earth your possession.
Colorado Springs shall be saved! Colorado Springs belongs to the Lord. It’s right for us to agree with the request of Jesus, that everything, all of creation, would be reconciled to the One who has reconciled.
- Yet even before that, God said He would bless Abraham and his descendants so that all the families of the earth would be blessed (Genesis 12).
Matthew 5
13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.
14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Let’s rejoice over the finished work of the cross. Let’s remind ourselves and one another that “it is finished.”
Whatever it is that is being worked out in our lives, whatever pressure we are under, let’s start tonight by remembering the Truth! Jesus is seated tonight, our high priest, at the right hand of our Father, and…. AND, just as Galatians said, we have been immersed in Him.
We are here, and my friends, we are there. You are seated in heavenly places with the Lord. And He is immersed in you.
Our prayer: Lord, reveal Jesus in all of His glory there, and reveal Him here, in all of His glory.
