An Explanation… of Sorts!

An Explanation… of Sorts!

So, I’ve been thinking about this for a while now. Consider it an explanation of sorts.

I suppose after so many years in one place, with a decade’s long schedule that was pretty well inscribed in ink, I feel I must give an account for the changes. I must provide an answer. Why are we doing this? What exactly are we making ourselves available to, and whom?

Twelve years ago, God gripped my heart with a vision for stadium Christianity. As I was driving past the Citrus Bowl (now Camping World Stadium) in Orlando, I heard the audible voice of the Lord shout behind my right ear, “Leah, fill the bowls and I will pour them out!” That very night, for the first time, I heard Paul Cain’s word from 30 years before about the “nameless and faceless” movement that would come to be called “Stadium Christianity.”

For more than a decade, we (Larry, our ministry school students, our church and me) contended for this word. Many of you may remember how we toured all over Florida, praying in every single stadium, believing for this word to come to pass. Our final stop was there in front of the Citrus Bowl. Over the years, we put in countless hours prayer walking that stadium.

Years later, I would make a call that would change my life, and I believe with all humility, even the very course of history. In what I can only describe as the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, I was directed to call the Citrus Bowl and ask them to give the stadium for a move of God. There was just one catch; I wanted it for free. To my amazement, that very day, the manager did give me the stadium… and for free! This one moment, this moment where the faith of God matched the prophetic word, changed everything.

That one phone call brought us into a relationship with Cfan, Reinhard Bonnke, and Daniel Kolenda. It opened the door for us to step out in faith for our own stadium gatherings in Mexico. As you already know, the fulfillment of this culminated earlier this year with The Send, held in this very stadium with Lou Engle.

So what does that have to do with now? What does that have to do with traveling state to state in an RV? Everything! We have a unique history in God that I believe He wants to use to stir up faith across the USA. Maybe that sounds arrogant. It’s not. Not at all. It’s just obedience. There are plenty of places that have been praying for a long time, believing for decades even. They have been faithful. They just need an infusion of faith not only carry it but to push it forth. It’s time!

America is pregnant with revival. No doubt about it! But we can’t stay pregnant forever.

So, Larry had two dreams in the last weeks that we think are giving us some directional insight into this next assignment.

8/5/2019

In a dream, I saw President Trump, Lou Engle, and Leah with an entire presidential travel detail. They were on a prayer assignment on the east coast. President Trump and Lou asked Leah to direct the tour throughout the trip. To make the trip more efficient, some businesswomen offered her private business jet for the team to travel.

In the dream, I received a phone call from Leah. She said I needed to bring our personal vehicles and meet her and the team at the airport because President Trump did not like the color of the plane. President Trump wanted Leah to provide our personal vehicles for the trip.  Leah was brought to our home, and we drove all of our vehicles back to the airport so they could continue the tour with Trump and Lou on the east coast. The entire travel security team was able to fit in our vehicles.

Here’s the second dream:

8/9/2019

The dream was set around a large boardroom table. In the meeting, an international leader and Leah were discussing how to implement a national strategy for the USA. The leader was looking to Leah for how to roll out the plans

Suddenly, Leah and this leader needed to leave. They gave me the strategy write up, and immediately, the plans turned into a snake.

Here’s what we believe. The first dream with President Trump and Lou feel like another reminder to push forward with the State of the Union Tour. I don’t know who else could be more representative of our nation than President Trump, or who could represent prayer more to us than Lou Engle. Seems pretty clear for us to move forward. The dream seems to speak to us getting this out of the air only and mobilizing on the ground. That RV is coming in handy!

The second dream seems especially important. We had been praying for some time about how to take on such a task. How should we go state to state? The plans turning to a snake immediately brought to my mind the original flag of the thirteen colonies. Remember? The segmented snake with the “Join or Die” motto. We’re going to start how we started as a nation. Could it be that something must be unlocked in prayer with these original states to unlock the country? We think so.So, we will go segment to segment, state by state, doing what we did in Florida all those years ago. Stadium to stadium we will pray, believing for a faith that will match the word. I want to get into every church I can as we make our way south, stirring this up. We’ll post our itinerary shortly!

Pray with us! I’m going to blog about our journey so you can come along. If we are in your state, we would love to have you join us where we are speaking or at the stadiums for prayer. We will keep you updated in real-time on my facebook page. If your church or small group would like us to speak, please send us an email.

Also, we are in the middle of renegotiating on another stadium in the RGV. We are starting to make progress, and I hope to have a date to send you by our next email. We’ve been pushed back a few times, but we are going forward! From border to border, God will have His way!!

In the meantime, we had an incredible connection here in Quebec. We met up with Art Lucier and Dean Briggs, who are doing large gatherings all across Canada. We talked about God’s plans for Canada and the USA, and how we might be able to work together in this coming season. All this way from home, and we are starting to see real God connections for what lies ahead. Much more on that to follow!

If you haven’t already, please prayerfully consider financially partnering with what we are doing. Jump out of the boat with us! Without a church home, we are relying on your generosity to send us on our way. Sometimes I feel embarrassed that I don’t have a better business plan than, “the worker is worthy of his wages (Matthew 10:7-10),” but I’m not going to be ashamed of trusting the Lord and His call on our lives. This is our testimony! I believe it’s going to bear much fruit.

We love you. As always, thanks so much for praying for us. Your calls, texts, and emails come at just the right time. God’s grace and your kind encouragement sustain us week by week. Thank you!

Real Seeking

Real Seeking

(Proverbs 1-2,  1 Corinthians 12)

“yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” (Proverbs 2:3-5)

We aren’t meant to box the air.  We weren’t designed to wander.  God designed us in and for a purpose, namely to be conformed to the image of His Son.   Jesus wasn’t aimless.  He came to destroy the works of the devil.  He came to reveal the Father.  He came that we would have life and life in abundance.

We know all this, and yet so many of us feel out of sync.  We are not sure what to do or where to go.  We’ve spent decades circling the same mountain, trying to discover our true north.  There must be something better than this!

True seeking is true north.  There is nothing passive about really seeking.  Searching for God takes effort and focus.  It means saying no to lesser pursuits.  There is an obsessive quality presented in the picture of this Proverb, a man searching for hidden treasure.  There is nothing aimless about this kind of pursuit.  Stop wandering around the mountain.  Seek the Lord!  Search Him out.  Your real destiny can only be found in Him.

Warring in Rest

Warring in Rest

(Psalms 148-150, 1 Corinthians 11:16-34)

Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples, to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, to execute on them the judgment written! This is honor for all his godly ones. Praise the Lord! (Psalms 149:5-9)

There is something truly powerful about real rest. The people of God are called to wage war, but it can only be accomplished from a place of real rest. Don’t you know that you are called to pull down principalities and strongholds and overthrow demonic kingdoms and schemes? This is our calling. However, it is not by the sweat of our brow. It is not through our planning strategies. It is by the Spirit of the Lord.

From the place of rest, we enter into the Kingdom of the Lord. He has finished the work. We are His witnesses. We behold Him in His glory. This psalmist says that he saw the Lord while still in bed. Talk about rest! Even before we get up in the morning to start our day, this invitation is waiting for us.

Let’s go in! In rest, in full dependence on the Holy Spirit, let us go in to see the Lord as He is. Let us lift up our song to Him and bless Him. And then! And then, let us tear down everything that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. Let us declare the Word of the Lord over peoples and nations, believing for the fullness of the Kingdom of Heaven to manifest in the earth. All from our beds. Why not? Real rest is a weapon.

Commending His Works

Commending His Works

(Psalms 145-147, 1 Corinthians 11:1-15)

3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. 4 One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. (Psalms 145:3,4)

The baptism of the Holy Spirit makes us eyewitnesses to the greatness and glory of Jesus. We are not heralding another generation’s stories only. No! We testify about what we have seen, what we have heard and what we have felt God do in our days.

The accounts of God’s dealings with men in the scriptures are not an end in and of themselves. Instead, they are an invitation to step into that dimension with God for ourselves. The prophecies are still unfolding. We need to find ourselves within the scroll (Luke 4:18) and step into the promises, not just settle for quoting them. All of God’s promises are invitations!

Faith begets faith. Do you know you can stir yourself up by remembering your history in God? Commend His works. Declare what You have seen Him do in your life to the next generation. This is just the beginning, but what a good beginning it is.

Trains my Hands for War

Trains my Hands for War

(Psalms 142-144, 1 Corinthians 10:14-33)

Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.  (Psalm 144:1)

The Lord is Savior, Rescuer, Redeemer and also the Great Warrior King.  He is worthy of all of our worship, our full devotion and also our abandoned loyalty to His cause.  Jesus came to destroy the work of the devil (1 John 3:8).  He did not come to cohabitate with evil.  He came to destroy bondage.  He came to obliterate sickness and disease.  He came to deal with the root of sin, that separation that leads to death.

In our devotion to Christ, in our fellowship with Him, He will lead us into His continued ministry.  He trains our hands for war and our fingers for battle.  We will be fully equipped to address all that hinders love.  He will enable us to pull down the strongholds still operating over our lives. We will gain authority to tear down generational curses and even deal with regional principalities that set themselves up against the knowledge of Christ.

Today, press into His Person and His purpose. They cannot be separated.  They will not be separated.  Give yourself to the Lord’s equipping.  That this will be said of us, “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death (Revelation 12:11).”

In Your Book

In Your Book

(Psalms 139-141, 1 Corinthians 10:1-13)

Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. (Psalm 139:16)

Before we took our first breath, we were known and known completely. All of our days were written, recorded in heaven before we were even conceived in our mother’s womb. Think of that! Think of that.

Indeed, revelation is like remembering something. Real spirituality is about tapping into the dimension (heaven) where everything is already finished, already perfected. The scriptures tell us quite plainly that we have already been given every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 1:3). We have whatever we need ALREADY. We don’t need a creative miracle. We need to take what has ALREADY been provided… albeit miraculously.

God has written a book about your life. Before the foundation of the world, today, your today was recorded. O, for a glimpse of those heavenly pages! To have eyes to see our true destiny and come into the fullest sense of partnership with Christ! This is the true meaning of life and life in abundance.

Obtain the Prize

Obtain the Prize

Day 241

(Psalms 136-138,  1 Corinthians 9)

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air.  (1 Corinthians 9:24-27)

There are many accounts in the scriptures where the Holy Spirit would overshadow a man or woman, or angels would suddenly appear and speak some heavenly message from the throne of God.  There are also many accounts of a man or woman setting their attention on heavenly things, and being caught up into the things of the Spirit.

Many Christians are waiting, passively, aimlessly, waiting for some spiritual encounter to “happen” to them. You don’t have to wait!  There is a door standing open in heaven.  You are NOW seated in Chris in heavenly places. Run the race!  Press into your faith!!

Complacency, especially spiritual complacency, will get you nowhere.  Pursue the Lord, love Him actively, with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Spiritual communion requires focus. Giving and receiving love requires focus.  Run in such a way that you obtain the prize:  Fellowship with Jesus.

The Resting Place of God

The Resting Place of God

(Psalms 132-135, 1 Corinthians 8)

Arise, O Lord, and go to your resting place, you and the ark of your might.  Let your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let your saints shout for joy. (Psalm 132:8,9)

Do you know that you are the temple of the Lord? You!  You are called to be the resting place of the fulness of God. What a thought!  You.  Me. Us.  We are the house of the Divine.

David and his mighty men were stepping into the prophetic directives of their day.  They were searching the scriptures, listening to the rhema word of the Lord, and stepping into the promises given for their lifetime.  They were in the Word.  It was alive to them, and they were alive to it.

David sets up a tent and places the ark of the Lord in the midst of the people.  Open for all to see, David reestablishes the priests and assigns them to their duties.  The singers and musicians are appointed into a rotation, and 24/7 the Lord is honored and worshipped.

What a picture!  Today, may we step into this.  For all to see, let us dress in the righteousness of Christ.  Let us be the very resting place of our God.

Alive to Christ

Alive to Christ

(Psalms 75-77, Romans 6)

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. (Romans 6:4-5)

Eternal life is not something to be experienced as something future only. It begins here! Eternal life, the experience of being alive to God, begins here. If we have been united with Jesus in death through baptism here, then we should also expect to experience His resurrection life here.

According to Jesus, our prayer is for the will of God, the reality of heaven, to manifest here and now, just as it does in heaven. Our prayer, our experience is not pointed forward to some future day after we take our final breath. No! Resurrection life, the very reality of heaven, is operational now. This is to be our daily actuality. This is the life promised us by Christ.

We are not called to hold the fort, hoping against all odds to leave this world untainted and untouched. We are sent ones. We aren’t afraid of darkness because we are light! We are the light of the world. Now go! Manifest life. Manifest the resurrection power of Christ. Demonstrate heaven. This is the Good News.

Believe God

Believe God

(Psalms 70-72, Romans 4)

3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.” (Romans 4:3)

Believing is a paradox. All at once, it is the easiest thing to do and the most difficult. Upon inspection, we are all more comfortable with the notion of karma than faith. We are well acquainted with a quid pro quo notion of the world, a something-for-something exchange. Believing seems, at its root, just too easy. But is it?

The Kingdom of Heaven is not about equal exchange. Thank God! And although we are well versed in this kind of economy, the reality of heaven operates with a different currency. God is the Provider, Sustainer, Enabler, and Savior. He gives the Word and also fulfills the word. So what is our part? We are witnesses!

Believing is supernatural. It is rest, and rest is supernatural. We are called to strive to enter this rest. How can we do it? How can we believe the Word? We must know the Word-Giver. Belief is rooted in trust. As we know Him, we will learn to trust Him. And as we trust Him, we will most certainly believe Him.
